Students in my classroom have been creating an illustrated interactive 21st Century Dictionary.

We're including NEW 21st Century WORDS as well as words which already exist but now have a completely NEW MEANING.

The students are creating dictionary entries as a Literacy & Art activity - first on paper, and secondly, online. Each entry includes
  • the word
  • its 21st Century definition, and
  • an image which illustrates the word.

Perhaps you and I need a new dictionary too? For those of us who don't know what half these words even mean, I've placed our current list here.
This is definitely a work in progress, so please feel free to complete the definitions and add any new words you see fit!
